PHP Fullstack-Entwickler (w/m/d) Master Data Management

As a PHP Fullstack Developer (m/f/d) specializing in Master Data Management, you will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and technical implementation: You will develop scalable data architectures that support our global decision-making processes. A particular focus will be on the transfer and derivation of data models in the technically demanding industrial turbine domain – represented by the Pimcore platform. Your work will help us to quickly position newly developed products in the market and drive the energy transition forward.

For positions at the Mülheim an der Ruhr or Nuremberg locations, regular travel to Görlitz is required (several days per month by arrangement).

How you can make a difference

• Design and maintenance of conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise-wide analytics and transaction systems such as data lakes, data warehouses, and data meshes.
• Definition and enforcement of modeling standards and best practices in agile development teams to ensure a consistent and reliable "single source of truth".
• Close collaboration with business stakeholders, data engineers, and data scientists to translate business requirements into efficient data structures.
• Contributing to the data governance strategy by establishing metadata management processes and ensuring data quality and consistency across different domains.
• Evaluation and integration of new database technologies and architectural approaches – including cloud-native services on AWS/Azure, Pimcore and Data Vault 2.0 – as well as proactive optimization of existing structures with regard to performance and scalability.

What you bring

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, mathematics or a comparable qualification, combined with several years of professional experience as a PHP developer with a focus on Symfony.
• Solid practical experience in complex PIM and MDM projects, ideally with Pimcore 10 and/or 11, interface development and Pimcore customization
• Technical expertise in PHP & Symfony; experience with modern cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and MySQL/SQL is a plus.
• Fluent English skills and sound German skills are required for working in our intercultural, diverse team.
• Analytical strength in quickly understanding complex issues – such as converting unstructured into structured data, gap analyses, and building robust data models in agile environments (Scrum/SAFe)
