Your mission as a Technical Support Engineer:

• Analysis and resolution of complex technical malfunctions in 2nd-level support to ensure stable and secure cloud operations.

• Close collaboration with international SRE and engineering teams for sustainable troubleshooting and optimization of cloud services.

• Advising and representing customer requirements to product and operations teams for continuous service improvement.

• Expansion and application of know-how in the areas of cloud architectures, IT security and infrastructure automation

• Participation in a collaborative 24/7 support model as well as active involvement in cross-departmental projects and knowledge exchange.

We are looking forward to this:

• Practical experience in technical support or relevant IT projects from studies, training or private initiatives

• Strong problem-solving skills and a high willingness to learn in a dynamic cloud and IT environment.

• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, network technologies, and initial experience with scripting (e.g., shell or Python) and database queries.

• Interest in monitoring tools, IT security and modern public cloud technologies such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Advantageous: Knowledge in the areas of Site Reliability Engineering (SLI/SLO/SLA, defect budget, monitoring, postmortems) and DevSecOps methods (Infrastructure-as-Code, Git, Continuous Deployment, Terraform, Ansible)

• Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
