At Appsfactory, Germany's leading agency for digital transformation, we are committed to developing customized software solutions for clients in various sectors, including healthcare, media, the public sector, and more – also in the field of artificial intelligence, such as chatbots and voicebots, recommendation systems, sentiment analysis, content creation, and the development of knowledge databases.
If you are passionate about tracking and analytics and proficient in working with data structures and SQL, then you've come to the right place! We offer an inspiring environment where you can significantly advance the topic of data intelligence at Appsfactory.
We are not looking for a pure data scientist or theoretical researcher, but rather a strong, consultative individual who is eager to implement holistic tracking solutions for our clients, from the initial technology decision and event concept to the finished dashboard. You will bridge the gap between pure development and strategic consulting, ensuring that our projects not only function technically but also deliver genuine data-driven added value.
You are the central contact person for tracking & analytics and advise our customers and internal teams on the selection of the appropriate tracking infrastructure (e.g. Google Analytics vs. Matomo vs. Piano).
You decide how we optimally set up tools, which features we can use "out of the box" and where individual analysis solutions (custom tracking) are necessary.
You develop smart tracking concepts, define event structures and parameters, and select the appropriate KPIs.
You will support the development process during the technical implementation and, as a Quality Gate, ensure excellent data quality together with the QA team.
You maintain and expand existing tracking setups and create automated queries and data blends (e.g., in BigQuery / SQL).
You analyze quantitative data and transform it into visually appealing dashboards (e.g., in Looker) that provide clear recommendations for action.
You promote data-driven work within Appsfactory and inspire customers and internal teams with the potential of valid data.
You have successfully completed a degree with a focus on quantitative data analysis (computer science, natural sciences, data science, or similar).
You have in-depth experience in web/app analytics as well as technical tracking know-how.
You are proficient in using common tracking tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Piano, Matomo) and can provide well-founded recommendations for different project needs.
You are proficient in SQL for queries in data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery) and ideally have basic knowledge of R or Python.
You have an excellent feel for the graphical presentation of data (e.g. in Looker), can penetrate complex datasets and communicate the "story" behind the numbers in an understandable way.
You present confidently to clients and enjoy translating technical knowledge into added business value.
You love taking on responsibility, work in a structured manner, and have high standards for the validity of your data.
German language skills, both spoken and written, at least at C1 level.
English language skills, both spoken and written, at least at B2 level.
