Your tasks

  • As a Cyber ​​Defense Engineer, you will work with the team to plan, implement and continuously develop the IT security infrastructure.
  • You enjoy operating and further developing existing security tools based on current threats and trends.
  • The automation of routine and project activities (Detection & Response as Code) and Incident Response Run Books is second nature to you and is implemented independently by you in our SOAR platform.
  • In addition, you will actively contribute to the further development of the internal tool suite.
  • As an experienced engineer, you also act as a mentor and actively share your knowledge.

Your profile

  • You are a good fit for us if you have successfully completed your training as an IT specialist or your studies in computer science and have several years of professional experience in security operations or comparable qualifications and experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Python programming language and additional experience with other programming languages ​​are advantageous.
  • You already have knowledge of various IT security technologies (SOAR, EDR/EPP, SIEM, NDR/IDS/IPS). Experience with Microsoft, SentinelOne, and Palo Alto products is an advantage.
  • Team spirit, commitment and personal responsibility are among your strengths.
  • Excellent German skills and good English skills, both spoken and written, complete your profile.
