Job description
- You will take responsibility for innovative data science projects and, in addition to the conception, will also be responsible for evaluating the projects with regard to business objectives.
- You independently develop complex algorithms and AI/ML models.
- You actively seek information about the latest research findings.
- You suggest best practices for increasing the efficiency of data science projects.
- You are the contact person for internal colleagues and share your know-how to achieve success together.
- You represent SSI SCHÄFER at relevant professional events and conferences.
- Completed studies in computer science, mathematics, statistics
- At least 5 years of experience in data science with a focus on LLMs
- Willingness to travel < 15%
- Expert knowledge in NLP, LLMs and Agentic AI
- Excellent knowledge of Python and related libraries (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy) as well as SQL
- Practical experience with frameworks such as Hugging Face, LangChain, scikit-learn
- Fundamentals of MLOps, Deployment (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)
- Knowledge of intralogistics and its challenges
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure) and software engineering
- Independent, customer-oriented and flexible working style
- Enjoyment of new topics
- Analytical thinking and "thinking outside the box"
- Can-do mentality
- Languages: German (at least C1 level), English (at least C1 level)
