Your tasks

As Tech Lead , you'll play a key role in the technical design and implementation of innovative digital solutions . You'll be responsible for the technical direction, actively promote knowledge transfer within the team, and ensure everyone is working towards the same goal. You'll be responsible for the architecture, technical leadership, and strategic development of our technology platforms, and you'll always keep an eye on the workload of the developers.

• Create the blueprint for the future: Design and develop innovative prototypes whose application and scaling will redefine banking for the entire Commerzbank Group.

Your profile

MUST HAVE

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or comparable qualification
• At least 7 years of professional experience in software development
• At least 1-2 years of experience as a Tech Lead
• Solid knowledge of modern programming languages ​​(e.g. Java, Python, TypeScript, Go) and frameworks for the entire stack
• Expertise in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Experience with microservices architectures and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Excellent knowledge of API design (REST, GraphQL) and event-driven architectures.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent communication skills in German and English

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in the FinTech or banking sector
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design and Clean Architecture
• Familiarity with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban)
• Certifications in the field of cloud or software architecture
