Do you want to create real added value with data and actively contribute to the further development of data-driven receivables management? In a challenging and dynamic environment, you will work at the intersection of analytics, business processes, and operational management. You will use modern analysis and modeling methods to better understand payment and customer behavior, identify risks early on, and derive effective management strategies. Together with a dedicated team, you will develop data-driven decision-making tools, optimize existing processes, and translate analytical models into concrete operational measures. Working closely with specialist departments and IT, you will help to sustainably embed innovative analytics approaches in daily operations and continuously improve receivables management.

Your tasks

Modeling & Feature Engineering: Development of high-performance algorithms and scores for predicting payment behavior. The focus is on creative and technically sound feature engineering to extract relevant signals from complex data sources.

From model to practice : Translating analytical models into concrete strategies and recommendations for operational processes. Conducting A/B tests to evaluate alternative process variants and ensure measurable added value in daily business.

Risk-oriented analyses: Creation of portfolio analyses with a focus on credit and default risks, as well as the derivation of control measures.

Forecasting & Planning: Prediction of key performance indicators for operational planning, budgeting and forecasting

Process control: Analysis of business processes, identification of key levers and initiation of appropriate measures in case of deviations or discontinuities.

Data analysis & database: Independent information gathering and building a robust database from different sources for continuous model improvement.

Interface management: Close collaboration with other departments for data-driven process development

Internal networking: Promoting collaboration between analytical and operational units to better utilize data in receivables management.

Your profile

Successfully completed studies in mathematics, business informatics, statistics, data science or a comparable qualification

Deep understanding of raw data transformation to improve model performance, as well as experience in dealing with overfitting and developing robust models for practical application.

Excellent knowledge of multivariate analysis methods, predictive analytics, and data mining.

Confident handling of databases and very good SQL knowledge

Experience with programming languages ​​for data analysis (Python, R) and ideally experience with modern ML frameworks (e.g., Scikit-Learn, XGBoost) and automated pipelines

Ideally, professional experience in telecommunications or in industries with mass customer processes.

Strong analytical skills, a structured work style, and a high degree of personal responsibility.
