Join our Signaling Testing Division in Munich (Germany) at the earliest possible date. We are seeking a motivated and talented master student to join our development team. This is a thesis option for students currently pursuing a master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Python programming, object-oriented programming principles, and experience with source control tools like Git and ticket management systems such as Jira.

Your tasks

Collaborate with the research team on various AI/ML projects, contributing to the development and implementation of innovative solutions.
Design, train, and optimize AI models using frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
Collect, preprocess, and analyze data required for training AI models.
Conduct rigorous testing and validation of AI models to ensure performance and reliability.
Document research findings, methodologies, and results clearly and comprehensively.
Present research outcomes and prototypes to the team and stakeholders.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Your qualifications

Completed bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field; currently pursuing a Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
Deep understanding of AI/ML theories, algorithms, and model training techniques.
Proficient in using AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
Excellent programming skills in Python, with a strong emphasis on object-oriented programming.
Previous professional experience in AI/ML is highly desirable.
Nice to have: Familiarity with telecommunication protocols.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
