Junior AI Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Building an AI ecosystem within the MERKA Group and developing the AI ​​strategy and roadmap
• Identification and evaluation of AI use cases
• Technology scouting (tools, platforms, best practices)
• Business case development and feasibility studies
• Project management of AI initiatives (planning, implementation, change management)
• Risk and compliance management (GDPR, ethics, regulation)
• Building AI governance, standards and best practices
• Conducting knowledge transfer and internal training.
• Building a network with external partners and service providers

Your profile:

• Successfully completed studies in computer science, data science, business informatics or related fields.
• 1-2 years of professional experience in AI/ML or Data Science
• Solid understanding of AI technologies and business applications
• Basic knowledge in the field of Data & Analytics (data quality, data sources, data governance)
• Comprehensive understanding of IT systems (cloud platforms, API concepts, system integration)
• Good tool knowledge in the area of ​​no-code/low-code and AI platforms.
• Experience in project management (Scrum, Kanban, Prince2) and stakeholder management is an advantage.
• Analytical thinking, strong self-interest, strong communication skills and persuasiveness
• Self-initiative, a desire to shape things, and the ability to deal with uncertainty
