Your challenges
- Together with the client, you define the needs that are relevant for the data projects.
- You specify the technical aspects and implement data pipelines using modern technologies (Azure Cloud, Google Cloud, AWS, KNIME, etc.).
- You develop customized solutions with intelligent algorithms for large datasets, from building the architecture to visualizing the results in meaningful dashboards.
- You will design and implement simulation and what-if models to evaluate and support complex supply chain and logistics decisions using data.
- You are part of a mixed team (Log-hub & customer) and act as a link and translator between the specialist department, IT and solution development.
- You enjoy tackling tactical and strategic supply chain and logistics challenges – customized demand forecasting, automated route optimization, network design analyses, changes to production sites based on the BOM, etc.
This is what you bring with you
- Completed studies (computer science, business informatics, industrial engineering, mathematics, physics, or similar) with a passion for quickly learning new topics.
- Initial experience in the field of data engineering/analytics, e.g., through an internship or traineeship.
- Passion for innovative technologies, methods and topics such as data engineering, analytics, machine learning, AI, big data, simulations, cloud platforms, and agile working methods (e.g. Scrum)
- Prior experience with data technologies is advantageous, e.g., Microsoft Azure Synapse/Fabric, Databricks/Spark, Snowflake, Google BigLake, AWS Lake Formation, etc.
- A team player with strong communication skills who can share their expertise.
- Professional demeanor and fluent German and English skills
