AI Engineer (m/f/d)

for the Oranienburg location, full-time

Your tasks

• Further development and implementation of AI and machine learning models to solve specific business problems
• Development, maintenance and further development of data pipelines as well as training and inference infrastructures (including versioning, repeatability, automation)
• Selection of suitable algorithms, frameworks and toolchains, taking into account performance, cost, maintainability and security.
• Integration of AI solutions into existing IT systems (e.g., interfaces, APIs, events, data flows, permissions)
• Monitoring, quality assurance and continuous improvement of productive AI systems
• Establishment of MLOps/LLMOps practices (CI/CD for models, testing strategies, observability, rollback mechanisms, governance)
• Further application support and project work beyond the field of AI
• Contributing to the standardization and digitization of business processes within the framework of IT Vision 2030

Who we are looking for

• Completed studies in computer science, data science, mathematics, engineering or similar – or relevant professional experience
• Experience in the development and operationalization of ML/AI models
• Understanding of software engineering (clean code, tests, API design, Git, CI/CD)
• Experience with integration into enterprise IT (APIs, authentication, logging/monitoring) – ideally in an SAP-related environment
• Programming skills in Python and experience in containerization (Docker) are desirable.
• Strong communication skills: Translating business requirements into technical solutions and vice versa
• Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
