We are looking for a
Data Engineer (m/f/d)
to strengthen our Analytics Hub & AI Platform department, either full-time or part-time.
Applicants with disabilities will be given preference if equally qualified.

Exciting tasks await you at our company:

  • You plan, develop and operate scalable data architectures such as data warehouses and data lakes based on modern technologies (including Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Python, Oracle).
  • You design, implement, and optimize ETL and ELT pipelines to efficiently combine heterogeneous data sources.
  • You ensure the quality, security, and performance of data processing – especially in distributed and cloud-based environments.
  • You operate the existing data platforms stably, build reliable monitoring systems, and automate recurring processes to increase efficiency.
  • You empower analytically oriented departments through robust data models and self-service structures on our platforms.
  • You will contribute to the selection of new technologies, tools and platforms, and bring experience in architecture and governance topics.
  • Close collaboration with IT architecture, data scientists, analysts, projects, and operations departments is also part of your responsibilities.
  • Actively shaping a future-proof data landscape completes your field of activity.

This is how you create a perfect career match:

  • You have a completed degree or vocational training in (business) informatics, data engineering, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience in data engineering or in building modern data platforms distinguish you.
  • You also possess sound technical expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Python or Oracle.
  • Knowledge of tools such as Informatica PowerCenter or MicroStrategy is an advantage.
  • You are familiar with modern data architecture principles and implement corresponding standards in a goal-oriented manner.
  • A structured approach to thinking helps you to identify bottlenecks early and develop sustainable solutions.
  • Clear communication, collaborative work, and a strong focus on quality and service characterize your work style.
  • Even in dynamic project situations, you maintain an overview and impress with your reliable work ethic.

We have a lot to offer:

  • Achieving a good work-life balance is easy with our flexitime model. Sabbaticals are also possible.
  • Work flexibly and remotely: You can decide whether you prefer to work from home, on the go, or in the office for up to 60% of your working time. You'll generally be on-site with us 40% of the time. We'll provide you with a financial subsidy for your home technical equipment.
  • We support you in achieving your career goals. For example, with our diverse development opportunities, flexible career paths, comprehensive onboarding, and a wide range of further training programs.
  • In addition to an attractive salary according to the collective agreement, you will receive Christmas and holiday pay from us.
  • We offer a subsidy for the Deutschlandticket (Germany Ticket) to help you get to the office. Alternatively, you can rent a bicycle through our partnership with JobRad – good for your health and the environment!
  • In our award-winning canteen you will always find a wide selection of delicious food.
