Job Description
Within our 12-month trainee program, you will gain comprehensive insights into the strategic IT transformation and processes of an internationally operating bank. The traineeship is divided into two main areas: For the first six months, you will work in the Data & Architecture Office, and for the second six months, in AI project management. You will actively participate in projects that drive the further development of the data, IT, and process landscape within the COO area. In addition, we offer you a variety of skills and specialist training courses as well as regular networking events – ideal conditions for a successful start to your professional career.
Here's what you can look forward to:
- From the very beginning, you will be valued and integrated into the daily business, and in a dynamic team you will learn step by step about the structure of the COO area and its interfaces.
- In the Data & Architecture Office, you will support the further development of data management standards and processes, contribute to regulatory issues (including BCBS 239), and help with the creation and structuring of data quality reports as well as the maintenance of data models and the business glossary.
- In AI project management, you support the implementation of AI initiatives and individual AI use cases, work in requirements, process and risk management, and take on subtasks in project management as well as in governance, compliance and audit activities.
- As part of your individual trainee plan, you will build a strong network early on through the two focus areas and rotations, onboarding, buddy program, joint trainee project and the exchange in our communities – and all this from the start in an open-ended contract, which seamlessly transitions into your permanent entry into the department after completion of the trainee program.
We can look forward to this:

- You have successfully completed a degree – or are about to – in computer science, business informatics, economics or a comparable field of study.
- Ideally, you have some initial practical experience in banking or finance, consulting or the technology sector, e.g. through internships or a working student position.
- You are interested in digitalization, IT transformation, payment transactions, and project and process management.
- You are characterized by self-motivation, analytical thinking and a high degree of flexibility.
- You have fluent German skills and good English skills.
