CONSULTANT DATA ENGINEERING & DATA MANAGEMENT (w/m/d)

• You will support our customers in the conception, implementation and productive use of modern data platforms and data management solutions.
• In this role, you will design data warehouse and lakehouse architectures from the initial concept to live operation.
• You develop and operate robust ETL/ELT pipelines and ensure clean monitoring and reliable fault handling.
• You model data and implement high-performance data structures for analytics and BI applications.
• You integrate different data sources into a consistent and reliable data basis.
• In your role, you pragmatically implement data quality and governance, creating transparency and traceability along data flows.
• You provide data for analytics and BI and support the implementation of dashboards and reports.
• Working closely with specialist departments, you gather requirements in workshops and translate them into viable technical concepts.

• A completed degree in computer science, data/analytics, (industrial) engineering or a comparable qualification, as well as approximately two years of practical experience in the data environment.
• Excellent SQL skills including window functions, clean data modeling and performance fundamentals, as well as good, project-proven Python skills for data processing and automation.
• A solid understanding of data warehouse concepts and modern lakehouse architectures, as well as initial experience with analytics and BI setups.
• Practical experience with Power BI or Qlik Sense, especially in data modeling, measures and basic publishing topics
• Enjoyment of consulting, a structured work style and teamwork, combined with very good German and good English skills.
• Ideally, you also have initial experience with cloud platforms, modern data tools, data quality or governance topics, or SAP data models – industry knowledge is a plus, but not a must.
