About Us:
We are a dynamic team in Aachen developing cloud-based tools to make the daily operations of dental practices more efficient, transparent, and successful. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Full Stack Developer or DevOps Engineer.
Big tasks
You're a jack-of-all-trades and enjoy developing web applications. You're comfortable working with both frontend and backend systems; setting up a Linux server in the cloud is no problem for you.
Our stack revolves around Linux servers in the cloud, using PostgreSQL, Node.js, Redis, and Caddy, and we use Ansible for provisioning. We
have over 300 Raspberry Pis in use at our clients' sites, and we rely on Macs in the office. So there's plenty of room to experiment!
You're needed, whether it's to help a client's Raspberry Pi get through their firewall, support the team when emails are stuck,
or when Teams isn't working as expected. The servers are essentially snowflakes and require your regular maintenance. If you have any automation ideas for this, that would be fantastic!
Smart prerequisites
- Several years of experience as a developer or administrator
- Training as an IT specialist, completed computer science studies, technical training or sufficient practical experience;
career changers are also very welcome. - Solid knowledge of Windows, Linux and macOS (or at least two of them)
- Expertise with Linux servers, PostgreSQL, Node.js, Redis and Caddy
- Analytical and solution-oriented thinking paired with mental flexibility
- Independent, methodical work style, as well as enjoyment of teamwork and interest in continuous professional development.
- Experience in managing Raspberry Pis and network configuration
- Customer-oriented communication and problem-solving skills
- Innovative spirit and creativity in finding solutions
