Here's what you can expect from us:
- Design, development and maintenance of scalable, high-quality data products within the business domain of Supply Chain Management.
- Implementation of data pipelines, APIs, and data transformations using modern data engineering practices.
- Collaboration with SCM subject matter experts to translate business requirements into robust data products.
- Ensuring data quality, data lineage, and discoverability in accordance with the standards of a decentralized data architecture.
- Monitoring and optimization of the performance, reliability and usability of data products
- Collaboration with the IT platform teams to make the best use of shared data infrastructures and tools
- Support in building prompt and knowledge structures that can be used for GenAI applications in SCM
This is what makes you stand out:
- Completed studies in the field of business informatics, computer science, data science, mathematics, statistics or comparable qualification
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience as a Data Engineer / Data Scientist / Business Analyst, ideally with a focus on SCM or Logistics.
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL and modern data engineering frameworks
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, etc.)
- Understanding supply chain processes and interrelationships
- Knowledge of data modeling, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures
- Understanding of concepts of decentralized data architectures, in particular Domain Ownership, Data as a Product and Federated Governance
- Fluent German and English skills
