Electromobility, autonomous driving, and artificial intelligence are ubiquitous and offer you, as a Data Analyst/Data Scientist intern, entirely new opportunities to apply your analytical skills and creativity. You will focus on customer interaction with the vehicle, examining a wide range of modalities. This involves working with global data from real customers and tackling the challenge of handling large datasets.
You'll work in an international network with data specialists from Sindelfingen, Berlin, Beijing, Shanghai, and San Jose. Close collaboration with designers, engineers, and software developers will give you insights into many exciting fields.
These are some of the challenges you will face:
Processing and coordination of data analytics questions regarding customer interactions with the vehicle
You are responsible for all data analytics issues from the initial inquiry to the presentation of your results.
Creation of data models, analyses and dashboards
Testing and analyzing internal vehicle communication
Training in a data-centric mindset within the department and beyond
Design and preparation of decision-making documents

The internship can begin from September 2026.
Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Informatics, Psychology or a comparable degree program with a focus on Data Analytics, Data Science or Machine Learning
Knowledge of the human-centered design process and common data analytics/data science methods
Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
Proficient skills in the use of common programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
Experience with platforms and tools such as Databricks, Jupyter Notebooks or Azure is advantageous, but not a requirement.
Basic familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
Commitment and teamwork
Analytical thinking and strategic, structured working methods
High level of self-motivation and willingness to learn about complex tasks and subject areas.
