Data is a key driver of digital transformation. Data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning enable the systematic analysis of large datasets to generate valuable insights and reliable knowledge. The interdisciplinary Data Science & Artificial Intelligence degree program provides you with the fundamental skills to develop and implement digital solutions for a wide range of business applications.
You will complete the theoretical phases of your studies at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University in Karlsruhe. You will acquire a solid foundation in computer science, mathematics, and statistics, supplemented by practical domain knowledge from business and technical fields. The curriculum includes topics such as programming, business fundamentals, database and big data technologies, cloud computing, data management and analysis, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and intelligence engineering.
During the practical phase, you'll work on diverse projects addressing questions related to data science and artificial intelligence. You'll learn about the working methods and responsibilities of IT and business departments and support experts in implementing digital solutions. Supplementary seminars and lectures will deepen your knowledge and effectively connect theory and practice.
Furthermore, the program is complemented by subject-specific and personal development seminars within the company.
