You will work on innovative topics related to Agentic AI, Data Science and digital transformation in the banking sector, continuously develop your skills and contribute to creating sustainable added value for our customers and society.

UniCredit Bank GmbH is continuously expanding its expertise in data science and artificial intelligence. The Data & Intelligence Office plays a central role in managing the bank's data landscape and providing analytical and AI-supported solutions across business and control functions.

This is what you can expect from us

  • Development, implementation and further development of data science and agentic AI use cases along key banking processes (e.g., risk, fraud, compliance, sales, operations)
  • Development and operation of machine learning and GenAI models for the automation and optimization of business-critical applications
  • Participation in the development of agent systems (e.g., autonomous or semi-autonomous AI agents) that independently plan and execute complex tasks.
  • Creation of data-driven products on our modern big data and cloud platform
  • Integration of LLMs, RAG architectures and workflow automation into existing banking processes
  • Collaboration with specialist departments to translate business requirements into analytical solutions, taking regulatory requirements into account.
  • Ensuring model robustness, governance and compliance (e.g. in the context of model risk, data protection and regulatory requirements)

In addition, you bring the following:

  • (Almost) completed Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Informatics or a related field with very good grades or graduation within the last 2 years
  • Ideally, a PhD in the relevant field.
  • Solid programming skills (e.g., Python ) and an understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • First practical experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, GenAI or Agentic AI
  • Knowledge of modern AI approaches such as LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG, Multi-Agent Systems or AI Orchestration is advantageous.
  • Experience with Google Gemini Enterprise or similar GenAI platforms is an advantage.
  • Interest in bank-specific topics such as risk management, fraud detection, regulatory reporting, or customer analytics
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Google, Microsoft Azure) and big data technologies is a plus.
  • Structured, analytical and independent working style
  • High motivation, willingness to learn and resilience in a dynamic environment
  • Teamwork skills and strong communication skills
  • Excellent English and German skills , Italian is an advantage.
  • This position follows a hybrid work model with a required on-site presence.

This is what we offer you

The UniCredit Graduate Program Germany offers an attractive fixed annual basic salary starting at €59,761 gross , which is based on your academic degree and on full-time employment .
Your remuneration will be in accordance with the provisions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement for the private banking sector and is based on the following classification:
  • Bachelor's degree: Pay grade 6/11th year of professional activity
  • Master's degree: Pay grade 7/11th year of professional activity Promotion: Pay grade 8/11th year of employment
The target salary consists of two components: the annual base salary (as stated above), paid in 13 monthly installments , and a variable bonus payment . The bonus payment is based on one month's gross base salary and is adjusted according to both the company's success and your individual contribution to that success.
