Your mission.

You don't just want to design AI automation – you want to bring it into real products and make it measurably effective?

To support our digital team, we are looking for a Product Owner with a focus on AI Automation (m/f/d) to start on 01.09.2026, for a fixed term of 15 months.

This position is full-time (or part-time with a minimum of 32 hours/week) and is located in Munich, requiring at least 50% office presence. Our goal is to sustainably embed AI automation within the company and further develop it for the future.

Your role.

  • You plan and manage the implementation of AI automation projects for our digital language learning products, especially the eMagazines and their interactive elements.
  • You identify automation potential and manage requirements with internal and external users.
  • You develop concepts for AI automation – e.g., with LLMs (Claude, GPT, Gemini), no-code/low-code tools, or agent frameworks – implement them as experiments, and optimize them iteratively.
  • You will manage the implementation together with the development and AI platform teams.
  • You monitor new developments in the field of AI automation, examine potential applications and actively communicate these within the team.
  • You plan and manage digital projects such as the relaunch of our marketing websites, promoting the use of AI tools like Claude Design or Claude Code for accelerated conception and implementation. You work closely with the product design, marketing, and development teams.
  • You measure the effectiveness of AI initiatives using clear KPIs and present results and recommendations to stakeholders.

Your profile.

  • Completed studies in the field of media, computer science, data or a comparable subject area
  • Several years of professional experience as a Product Owner, Software or Data Engineer – ideally in the media sector
  • Practical experience in the use of artificial intelligence for process automation – at the interface between users and developers.
  • Advanced knowledge of using LLMs (e.g., Claude, GPT, Gemini) and extensive experience with prompt engineering, agents, and skills.
  • Experience with automation tools such as n8n, make or similar platforms is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of APIs, webhooks, and data flow processes
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing team contexts and technical topics and to act as a facilitator and enabler within the team.
  • Confident handling of content management systems and collaboration tools such as Miro, Jira and Confluence
  • Strategic thinking, organizational talent, strong communication skills, and very good German and English skills.
  • High level of personal responsibility, hands-on mentality, and enthusiasm for languages ​​and innovative digital formats
