Job Description

We are looking for a student assistant (m/f/d) in Data Engineering for our Distribution, Marketing and Technology department at our Bonn or Berlin location, starting on September 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter, for a fixed term of one year.

YOUR TASKS

  • Contributing to the analysis, debugging and further development of dbt pipelines, as well as the maintenance and adaptation of existing Python-based ingestion jobs for platform APIs and CSV imports.
  • Support in integrating new social media and third-party platform APIs into existing data pipelines
  • Participation in data modeling, harmonization of heterogeneous metrics and definition of uniform KPIs
  • Contributing to the development and optimization of dashboards, visualizations, and ad-hoc analyses.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • enrolled as a student at a university in computer science, mathematics, data engineering, data science or a similar field
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and Python; ideally experience with dbt
  • analytical thinking skills as well as a structured and reliable work ethic
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork skills
  • Very good German or English skills (at least B2 level); additional language skills are an advantage.
