• Collaboration in the conception, development and evaluation of ML models (e.g. for forecasting, anomaly detection and optimization tasks)
• Data processing and labeling
• Implementation and testing of algorithms in Python (e.g., with pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, or Azure ML)
• Support in integrating ML models into existing tools and processes
• Documenting your results and creating presentations for internal stakeholders

• Advanced studies in computer science, mathematics, data science, electrical engineering with a focus on machine learning/AI or comparable
• Good knowledge of Python and basic experience with common ML libraries (e.g. scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Confident handling of data analysis tools and methods (e.g. pandas, NumPy, Jupyter)
• Basic understanding of statistical methods, machine learning and AI
• ideally, initial contact points with topics from energy systems, energy industry or grid operation
• structured and independent work style as well as high motivation to learn new topics
• Teamwork skills and very good communication skills in German
• a scope of up to 20 hours
