Your tasks and responsibilities

• Development, testing and optimization of machine/deep learning and AI workflows to replace manual processes or complete incomplete data series.
• Conception and implementation of AI-supported solutions based on the SAP Business Technology Platform, especially in conjunction with SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Integration and use of AI models for intelligent process support, decision support and automation
• Evaluation of new AI, machine/deep learning technologies and derivation of concrete application possibilities in platform, product and service solutions.
• Support in the implementation from the technical conception through the technical realization to the proof-of-concept.
• Integration of external systems via APIs, webhooks, databases and interfaces, e.g. REST, OData, SQL / NoSQL
• Integration of systems, data sources and sensors for structured data acquisition and further processing
• Independent handling of sub-projects – from the idea through implementation to testing, documentation and go-live.
• Optional: Topic selection and supervision of your thesis in the field of AI

Your profile

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Applied AI, Data Science, Industrial Engineering or a comparable field of study.
• Strong interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning and modern cloud technologies.
• Initial practical experience with Python, Generative AI, data analysis and databases
• Ideally, initial contact with SAP BTP, SAP Build, SAP Integration Suite or other SAP cloud solutions.
• Basic understanding of interfaces, APIs, webhooks, data models and system integrations
• Interest in connecting SAP and non-SAP systems using AI, MCP, agents, or automations.
• Curiosity in dealing with new technologies and motivation to quickly familiarize yourself with new tools and platforms
• Analytical thinking skills, a structured and independent work style, and a love of learning and experimentation
• Teamwork skills, strong communication skills and a willingness to actively contribute one's own ideas
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills; German at least at B2 level.
