Your tasks

As an AI Project Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the structured identification, prioritization, and implementation of AI use cases across all departments. You will act as a central interface between business, IT, and management, ensuring transparency, manageability, and sustainable business value, and driving AI initiatives along the entire end-to-end process – from concept to scaling. This role is not operationally developmental, but rather focused on management, coordination, and governance . Specifically, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

Strategy & Use  Case  Management

  • Central coordination of all AI-related activities across departments
  • Structured analysis of existing processes as well as identification, evaluation and prioritization of AI use cases based on business value, effort, data availability and regulatory requirements.
  • Development and maintenance of a transparent AI use case pipeline including decision-making and prioritization logic.

Stakeholder and interface management

  • Conception, moderation and follow-up of workshops and decision-making formats (use case identification, requirements gathering, prioritization)
  • Translation between professional requirements and technical possibilities
  • Close collaboration with IT, specialist departments, data protection, compliance and external partners

Project & Program Control

  • Holistic planning and management of AI projects from the idea phase through conception and implementation to scaling.
  • Ensuring quality, economic impact and sustainable integration into existing processes
  • Cost and budget monitoring
  • Definition, tracking and reporting of suitable KPIs for measuring the success of AI initiatives

Technology & Integration

  • Support in the selection, implementation and integration of suitable AI tools, platforms and cloud solutions.
  • Evaluation of technical architectures with regard to scalability, security and governance
  • Supporting specialist departments in realistically understanding the opportunities and limitations of AI

Governance & Compliance

  • Consideration of legal and organizational requirements (e.g. GDPR, AI governance, EU AI Act awareness)
  • Ensuring a transparent and responsible use of AI systems
Your profile
  • Completed studies, e.g. in computer science, business informatics, (applied) data science, (applied) artificial intelligence (AI), computer science, systems engineering, mathematics, statistics or comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in project or program management, ideally in the field of digitalization, automation or AI.
  • Solid knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence (e.g., machine learning, NLP, generative AI) as well as understanding of common tools and frameworks (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Practical experience in the use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or similar, as well as BPM software (e.g., Camunda, CIB Seven)
  • Safe handling of complex data and process structures
  • Structured, analytical and results-oriented work style
  • Strong ability to moderate interdisciplinary stakeholders
  • High communication and translation skills between business and technology
  • Independent working style with a clear governance and implementation focus
  • Very good German and English skills
