Software Engineer - IoT & Data Engineering for AI (m/f/d)

• You design and implement products for anomaly detection on IoT time-series data, e.g., for monitoring logs or energy consumption.
• You combine efficient data streaming tools with innovative data engineering technologies to build a future-proof AIoT architecture.
• You select the appropriate technologies and concepts for a lean and scalable cloud solution.
• You will integrate OpenTelemetry in the future to take our observability to the next level.
• You are part of our agile team, with whom you will develop and operate our software.

• You have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the field of Data Engineering / MLOps, ideally with architectural responsibility.
• You have sound and practical experience with data streaming technologies such as Kafka, PySpark, Spark Streaming, MQTT, etc., and are familiar with the challenges of scaling real-time data streams.
• You have in-depth experience in processing large IoT time-series data and experience in designing data architectures for time-series handling.
• You have extensive experience in object-oriented programming, e.g. with Python, and bring experience in implementing machine learning projects in an industrial environment.
• You can familiarize yourself with complex technical challenges and offer pragmatic, scalable solutions.
• You are keen to work agilely in a team, solving real problems with your software and thereby creating added value for the business.
