The Reutlingen Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK Reutlingen), as a representative of businesses, provides crucial impetus for the success and growth of the regional economy. It serves as a central link between business, politics, and administration. Within the "National Economy & Regional Economic Policy" department, data is analyzed, processed, and presented to inform businesses and policymakers about current developments, strengths, and weaknesses in the Neckar-Alb region, thereby providing impetus for future action.

We are looking for a working student (m/f/d) for the "Economics & Regional Economic Policy" department starting in September. Weekly working hours can be arranged individually.

  • Organization. The "Economics & Regional Economic Policy" department organizes various events, such as the regional forum and networking meetings. You will gain insights into the entire organizational process, from topic selection to booking the venue and catering.

Your tasks:

  • You work with numbers and data on current topics in the Neckar-Alb region and create analyses independently.
  • You conduct research on economic policy issues.
  • In coordination with the department, you will independently organize events.
  • You will assist with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) economic surveys to assess the current situation of companies in the region.

Your qualifications:

  • You are studying economics, business administration, economic geography, political/administrative science, or a similar subject. Ideally, you have already completed your bachelor's degree.
  • You are committed, motivated, have a positive attitude, and appreciate being able to be creative.
  • You are a natural organizer and feel comfortable in direct customer contact.
  • You have very good Excel skills and experience in data preparation.
  • Your communication skills and excellent verbal and written expression are among your strengths.
