Tasks

  • As a BI Reporting Specialist (m/f/d), you will develop and optimize modern reporting and dashboard solutions using Power BI, providing departments and management with relevant information in an understandable, clear and high-performance manner.
  • You will design, develop and maintain semantic data models and KPI logics to ensure that data can be used consistently, transparently and efficiently.
  • You translate technical requirements into structured reporting and visualization solutions and actively participate in the design of the necessary data structures.
  • You ensure the technical consistency, data quality and transparency of reports and dashboards and continuously identify potential for the further development of existing solutions.
  • Together with colleagues from Data Engineering, Analytics and IT, you will further develop reporting standards, visualization concepts and best practices and contribute to establishing data-driven work sustainably.

Requirements

  • A completed degree in (business) informatics, business administration or a comparable qualification forms your basis.
  • Several years of experience in building and developing reporting and dashboard solutions with Power BI are an advantage.
  • Creating semantic data models and confidently using DAX and Power Query are part of your professional repertoire, and ideally you also have experience working with data lakehouse structures and different structured data sources.
  • You can confidently analyze technical requirements and translate them into understandable, high-performance reporting solutions.
  • A strong understanding of data structures, key figures and business relationships helps you to create added value for the specialist departments, and through your structured and quality-oriented way of working as well as your communication skills you move confidently at the interface between specialist department and technology.

As a key liaison between data engineering and business units, you'll develop modern reporting and analytics solutions, make complex data easily understandable, and actively support digital transformation.
