Inhouse Consultant (m/f/d) Reporting & Business Intelligence – Microsoft Power BI & Fabric

We need you for this.

• Analysis of technical requirements and translation into modern reporting and BI concepts
• Consulting for specialist departments and management regarding data-driven decision-making processes and the optimal use of Power BI and Microsoft Fabric
• Targeted integration and management of external partners to scale BI and data projects and to ensure efficient implementation.
• Developing modern reports, dashboards, and analyses in Microsoft Power BI
• Building and further developing data flows, data pipelines and Lakehouse structures within Microsoft Fabric
• Using OneLake as a central data platform and contributing to the further development of our data architecture
• Integration and processing of data from different source systems using SQL and modern ETL/ELT processes.
• Ensuring high data quality and contributing to the establishment of data governance standards.
• Conducting training courses, workshops and coaching sessions to promote data literacy within the company
• Active participation in shaping our BI strategy as well as evaluation of new technologies and innovative reporting approaches.
• Participation in or management of national and international projects in the reporting and BI environment
• Creation and maintenance of technical and professional documentation
• Support in qualified 1st and 2nd level support for reporting applications

This is what you bring with you

• A completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification. Alternatively, vocational training, e.g., as an IT specialist (m/f/d), with relevant professional experience.
• Solid experience with Microsoft Power BI and ideally knowledge of Microsoft Fabric
• Good SQL skills as well as experience in data analysis and data integration.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes, interface architectures and data preparation
• Understanding of business relationships, key performance indicators and reporting requirements
• Analytical and structured thinking, strong communication skills, independent and goal-oriented work style
• Affinity for data, digitization and modern technologies
