Your responsibilities

You will become part of a new internal team and will continuously develop the area of ​​software deployment and the continuous integration pipeline.

  • Provision and further development of software installation programs (setups) and software maintenance tools for the device and process software of medical systems
  • Definition and optimization of future-proof requirements, for example regarding software distribution in new distribution channels (e.g., Microsoft Store) or with package management systems, Azure DevOps, etc.
  • Continuous improvement of the automated processes for building and testing the installers
  • Maintenance and further development of the Continuous Integration pipeline

Your profile

  • Successfully completed studies in computer science or a similar background
  • Experience in software development according to agile standards, especially in the areas of deployment and CI/CD
  • Practical experience with at least one of the following tools/techniques: InstallAware, InstallShield, Windows Installer, MSI/MSIX
  • Practical experience with version control systems such as SVN or Git
  • Knowledge of Jenkins, VMware vSphere, TestComplete, and Polarion is a plus.
  • Knowledge of tools such as GitLab, Azure DevOps, Docker, Artifactory, NuGet, and Windows Package Manager is advantageous.
  • Experience with programming languages ​​(e.g., C#) and scripting languages ​​(e.g., PowerShell, Python) is an advantage.
  • German & English at least B2 level
