Job Description

You develop production-oriented AI, agent, and automation solutions, translating business and technical requirements into robust, testable, and operational software. Your role is not simply to implement isolated demos. You build reusable technical components, integrations, and standards that can be used for future IT projects. You work closely with technical consultants, business units, architecture, data, security, and operations teams.

  • You design and implement AI, agentic AI and automation solutions from technical MVP to production-ready handover.
  • You will develop reusable services, agents, workflows, APIs, data and context connections, and technical templates.
  • You integrate models, knowledge sources, specialist systems and platform services securely and transparently into existing IT landscapes.
  • You establish logging, tracing, monitoring, cost and usability transparency, as well as controlled human-in-the-loop mechanisms.
  • You already consider security, data protection, permissions, data minimization and governance in the technical design.
  • You assess new technologies pragmatically and make it transparent when standard building blocks, pro-code, low-code or individual development makes sense.

Your profile

  • You bring several years of practical experience in software engineering, AI engineering, data engineering, or in the development of complex automation solutions.
  • Furthermore, you have very good knowledge of Python and are confident in handling APIs, data formats, version control, CI/CD and automated tests.
  • Furthermore, you have experience with GenAI and agent patterns, for example in the areas of RAG, tool calling, orchestration, state logic, evaluation and guardrails.
  • Furthermore, you bring experience with cloud and platform services as well as the integration of distributed systems; knowledge of the Microsoft and/or Databricks environment is an advantage.
  • Excellent German skills and good English skills, both spoken and written, complete your profile.
