You don't just code, you define how we code in the future. Pure "vibe coding" and "ChatGPT copy-paste" are no longer enough for you; you already use LLMs and context engineering extensively to build robust, scalable architectures? As a (Senior) Engineer and functional lead, you will be the driving force behind the cloud-native backend services of our customers and partners, making agentic development the standard in your project.

Your tasks

  • Instead of simply assigning you tasks, we give you responsibility for your projects.
  • Architecture & Development : You design and build end-to-end solutions (from proof of concept to production-ready scaling), orchestrate high-performance Go or Kotlin systems, and utilize AI-native engineering as well as deep context engineering.
  • Team Mentoring & AI Integration : As a mentor, you will support other software engineers, conduct code reviews, and strategically integrate AI tools into existing workflows to measurably increase delivery speed.
  • Quality assurance : You ensure performance, security and excellent test coverage in a cloud-native environment (CI/CD, clean code paradigms).
  • Interfaces & Collaboration : You define seamless API interfaces (REST, asynchronous APIs) and work pragmatically with our frontend (Vue.js/Angular) and mobile (Kotlin Multiplatform) teams.

Your profile

  • We are looking for experienced practitioners whose expertise goes far beyond superficial knowledge of trends.
  • Solid, long-standing experience in building backend systems with Go or Kotlin .
  • A degree in computer science or comparable practical training/experience.
  • Deep AI Tooling : In-depth knowledge of how to systematically integrate AI into the development cycle (prompt design, context engineering, AI coding tools).
  • Experience in the professional leadership or strong mentoring of development teams.
  • Fluent German and very good English .
  • Nice-to-have : Pragmatic understanding of frontend frameworks (Vue.js, Angular) and/or experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).
