This is what you should focus on:
- GenAI Engineering: You develop sophisticated GenAI applications from the initial idea to productive use, relying on Python and modern AI frameworks.
- Agentic Systems & RAG: You design and implement agentic workflows, multi-agent systems and RAG architectures, and integrate Foundation Models and Large Language Models into secure enterprise environments.
- Integration & Platforms: You connect AI solutions with existing APIs, data platforms, enterprise applications and legacy systems, and develop robust data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
- Production Readiness & LLMOps: You develop evaluation, monitoring and observability solutions and ensure that GenAI systems meet requirements for quality, security, data protection, scalability and latency.
- Customer Consulting & Engineering: You conduct technical discovery sessions and engineering workshops, translate functional and technical requirements into implementable solution architectures, and develop closely with our customers' engineering teams.
- Innovation & Collaboration: You identify recurring technical patterns, develop reusable components and frameworks from them, and work closely with AI/ML Consultants, Cloud Architects, Data Engineers and Software Engineers, as well as on selected pre-sales activities and proofs of concept.
You bring the following:
- Engineering experience: You have a completed degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or a comparable field, or equivalent practical experience, as well as several years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering or machine learning engineering.
- Programming & Production AI: You have very good programming skills in Python or a comparable language and have already developed production-ready AI or GenAI applications.
- LLMs & Agentic AI: You have practical experience with Large Language Models, Prompt Engineering, Foundation Models, agentic workflows or multi-agent systems, as well as with frameworks such as LangGraph, Google Agent Development Kit, LangChain, CrewAI or similar technologies.
- RAG & Data: You are familiar with RAG architectures, embeddings and vector databases and can integrate them into modern AI applications.
- Cloud & Software Engineering: You have experience with distributed or cloud-based AI systems, APIs, containerized applications, and modern software engineering practices.
- Deployment & Operations: You have a good understanding of CI/CD, testing, deployment, monitoring and the reliable operation of AI applications.
- Consulting & Communication: You enjoy working directly with customer and engineering teams, can explain complex technical concepts in an understandable way, and have fluent German and English skills.
Desirable:
- Google Cloud & Enterprise AI: Experience with Google Cloud, Vertex AI, Gemini or similar cloud AI platforms, as well as knowledge of IAM, network security, data protection and governance for enterprise AI applications.
- Agentic AI & Tooling: Experience with Model Context Protocol servers, tool integrations and agent patterns such as ReAct, Reflection, Planning or hierarchical delegation.
- Evaluation & LLMOps: Knowledge of evaluation frameworks for LLMs and agentic systems, as well as an understanding of relevant metrics such as latency, tokens per second, cost per request, and success rates.
- Productivity implementation & consulting: Experience with LLMOps or MLOps, the transfer of proofs of concept into production-ready solutions, or in a consulting, professional services, or customer-oriented engineering environment.
- Cloud certifications: Relevant certifications in Google Cloud, AWS or Microsoft Azure.
