The Team
The Business Solutions department comprises the Application & Master Data, Enterprise Application Integration, and Business Intelligence teams. Together, we tackle challenges, develop solutions, and actively shape the future of BORA. Our focus is on the strategic and operational development of business-relevant systems, data, and processes. As an internal service provider, we are responsible for the conception and implementation of complex projects.
Your responsibilities:
Development, operation, and further development of scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for structured and unstructured data;
integration of data from ERP, CRM, production, IoT, sensor, and business systems into the central data platform;
setup, maintenance, and optimization of data warehouse, data lake, or lakehouse architectures;
ensuring data quality, consistency, availability, and timeliness along the entire data processing chain;
technical provision of data for analytics, BI, and AI applications;
monitoring, error analysis, and performance optimization of data processing, taking stability and costs into account;
compliance with and implementation of security, data protection, and governance requirements in data integration;
close collaboration with data architects, data scientists, IT, and business departments for the continuous development of the data platform .
Your profile:
Very good knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and handling large data volumes;
experience in the development and operation of ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines;
practical experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP) and modern data platform services
; understanding of data warehouse, Experience with data lake and lakehouse concepts;
programming skills in Python, SQL, and ideally frameworks like Spark;
basic understanding of data governance, data protection, and secure data architectures;
analytical and structured approach to work, as well as the ability to create technical documentation
; teamwork, strong communication skills, and solution-oriented thinking in interdisciplinary environments;
excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
