Schwarz Digits creates the technological foundation for digital decision-making freedom in Europe. As the IT and digital division of the Schwarz Group, we develop and manage the IT infrastructures for the retail divisions Lidl and Kaufland, as well as Schwarz Produktion and PreZero. At the same time, we operate as an independent provider in the external market, supporting companies throughout Europe in their digital transformation. We combine our core services in the areas of cloud computing, cybersecurity, data & AI, communication, and workspace. Contribute to digital decision-making freedom in Europe.

With us, you'll work at the intersection of agility and security: You'll benefit from fast decision-making processes, enjoy genuine creative freedom in your projects, and build upon the stable foundation of the Schwarz Group.

Your tasks

  • Ad-hoc analyses & exploratory data analysis: You will support our insights team in data modeling. You will actively use Python and SQL to analyze complex and large datasets and answer specific business questions related to our retail media campaigns.
  • Data preparation: You write and optimize scripts for our data pipelines to make reports, dashboards and analysis procedures more efficient.
  • Smart Automation & AI Integration: You'll help us simplify and streamline internal processes. To do this, you'll write smart Python scripts and integrate AI-powered tools (e.g., via APIs) into our workflows to automate manual tasks.
  • Impact & Teamwork: You work closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists and Product Managers, independently identify automation potentials and quickly take on your own responsibility in agile projects.

Your profile

  • Studies: You are currently enrolled as a student (m/f/d) in the field of (business) informatics, data science, mathematics or a comparable analytical/technical course of study.
  • Tech stack: You have solid practical programming skills in Python and SQL.
  • AI affinity: You have a strong interest in how artificial intelligence and smart automation can be used in everyday business to simplify processes. Prior experience with AI APIs (e.g., Gemini) or automation frameworks is a plus.
  • Mindset: You have a strong affinity for numbers and data and a real hands-on mentality: If you see an inefficient process, you immediately want to solve it technically.
  • Languages: Fluent German and good English skills complete your profile.
