Your tasks

With your technical expertise, you'll guide the entire development process: from requirements gathering and architecture to implementation and production operation. Working in interdisciplinary teams with clients, colleagues, and partners, you'll develop technically sound and sustainable solutions. Regular professional development and expanding your skills, even beyond your core area, are part of your daily routine. In client projects, you'll represent our company's values: collaborative, transparent communication on equal footing, and maintainable and secure solutions instead of opaque, disposable code.

Data Engineering, Data Lakehouse & modern data architectures

  • You will design and implement scalable data lakehouse solutions (e.g., on Databricks) to unlock the potential of our customers' data.

  • You work closely with business and IT stakeholders, translate requirements into data models, pipelines and architectures, and implement them.

  • You implement batch and streaming pipelines, orchestration, automation, validation and data modeling in a practical and quality-conscious manner.

Develop & integrate AI solutions

  • You design, develop and integrate customized AI applications with the goal of automating and making processes more efficient.

  • You choose suitable approaches: from classic Machine/Deep Learning to Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to agent systems and integrate models into existing data and application landscapes.

Secure AI and data management in the (private) cloud

  • You plan and implement data platforms and AI workloads in private and potentially hybrid cloud environments, taking into account data protection, compliance and regulatory requirements.

  • You take into account topics such as data/AI governance, security, monitoring, and operational processes.

This is what you bring with you
  • Terms like Data Lakehouse, Batch and Streaming Pipelines, Automation, Orchestration, Validation or Data Modeling are not only used in theory, but also in projects.
  • You have relevant experience with Databricks and Apache Spark.
  • You have experience in modeling complex data structures and in handling various database technologies.
  • You have practical experience in the development and integration of AI models, ideally in production systems.
  • You have a solid understanding of how AI applications are operated in private cloud environments.
  • Topics such as Explainable AI, agent systems, AI in data engineering, digital sovereignty, and data/AI governance and compliance pique your interest – ideally, you have already gained some initial experience in these areas.
  • You treat data and AI workloads like software products: versioning (code, data, models), reproducible pipelines, testing and monitoring are all part of your job.
  • You are able to find your way around even in a complex technological environment and constantly provide new impetus.
  • Ideally, you already have experience with agile projects (e.g., using SCRUM).
  • You have fluent German and good English skills.
