Our Data Analytics department supports all business units with data-driven decision-making and forms the basis of our business intelligence landscape. It encompasses reporting, data governance, data engineering, and analysis. With your expertise as an SAP Data Engineer (m/f/d), you will model consistent data structures and actively contribute to the further development of our data warehouse, ensuring our departments have access to high-quality, high-performance data. You will take on responsibility, work closely with colleagues, and actively shape the technotrans data landscape!

  • ETL development: Building, maintaining and optimizing stable ETL processes to ensure reliable and high-performance data flows.
  • Data modeling: Conception and implementation of consistent, scalable data models as a basis for reporting, analytics and operational systems.
  • Programming: Implementation of technical requirements using ABAP, SQL and other scripting languages ​​for the development of automated data processes.
  • SAP BW: Further development, maintenance and administration of our SAP Business Warehouse, including monitoring and error analysis.
  • SAP Datasphere: Participation in the migration from SAP BW to SAP Datasphere and implementation of new data architectures within the framework of these transformation projects.
  • System administration: Operation, monitoring and further development of our data and BI systems, as well as ensuring stability, performance and security.
  • Project work: Technical implementation of data projects in close collaboration with the specialist departments – from understanding requirements to productive implementation.

You know what counts:

  • Professional qualifications: Completed studies in Data Science, Business Intelligence, Statistics, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Economics or a comparable field - supplemented by professional experience in a comparable role.
  • ETL know-how: Experience in setting up, maintaining and optimizing ETL processes, as well as an understanding of high-performance data flows.
  • Programming skills: Good skills in ABAP, SQL and ideally other scripting languages.
  • SAP expertise: Practical experience in SAP BW as well as motivation or initial experience with SAP Business Objects (BO / Web Intelligence - "Webi"), SAP Datasphere and ideally SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
  • Project & communication skills: Project management experience and good communication skills in German (B2/C1) and English (B1/B2).
  • Tech mindset: High affinity for data, strong analytical thinking, understanding of business processes, and interest in IT trends, tools, and AI technologies.
