You can move that

CERT@VDE is the first independent cybersecurity platform in Germany for companies in the field of embedded software systems.

As a coordinating product security institute (PSIRT), we have been working with our industry partners for eight years to ensure a knowledge advantage along the value chain, enabling a rapid and structured response to current cyber threats.
Increasing connectivity raises the risk of exploiting security vulnerabilities and, consequently, the risk of attacks, whether in the context of operational technology (OT security), smart homes, or Industry 4.0. The CERT@VDE team helps companies respond appropriately to these threats and communicate security vulnerabilities.

Our motto: What individual companies cannot provide, CERT@VDE offers through cooperation, networking and expertise: We support affected companies in the necessary analyses and decisions and coordinate the response to security vulnerabilities across organizational boundaries.

Become part of this unique team and enable cybersecurity in Europe's supply chains through trusted collaboration on the CERT@VDE platform!

Your tasks:

  • Capturing and documenting customer and internal processes as the basis for a CERT@VDE manual
  • Literature review
  • Support in optimizing workflows at CERT
  • Alignment with regulatory and normative requirements (CRA, IEC 62443)

  • Knowledge in the areas of incident handling and vulnerability management is desirable.

We offer you this

  • The knowledge and work can be consolidated by continuing it in a bachelor's or master's thesis.
  • Mobile and flexible working after consultation with the manager
  • Your hourly wage is €15.00 (gross)
  • You will receive holiday and Christmas bonuses.
  • Working hours: Part-time (max. 20 hours/week); up to 40 hours/week are possible during lecture-free periods.
