The Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) at RWTH Aachen University has been synonymous worldwide for decades with successful and forward-looking research and innovation in production technology. In close collaboration with partners from industry and academia, we work on research and development topics that significantly influence the future of production.
The Innovation Management department at the Chair of Production Systems focuses on innovative approaches along the entire product development process. A current focus is on developing AI-supported methods for improving master data quality in manufacturing companies. For this purpose, our department has developed its own master data processing tool, which we are continuously refining.
