You can expect:
- Cloud transformation & further development: You actively support the migration to the cloud and continuously develop the new application.
- Modern Data Stack: You will integrate modern technologies such as Databricks, PySpark and Machine Learning into our future platform architecture.
- Operational stability & responsibility: You ensure the stable operation of the existing data warehouse until its shutdown and are responsible for incident and problem management, monitoring and performance optimization.
- End-to-end understanding: You operate in the tension between development, operations and architecture, and contribute throughout the entire data lifecycle.
- Team & On-Call Duty: You work in a well-established, collegial team and provide support as part of a paid on-call duty (approx. one week/month).
You bring the following:
- You have a completed degree in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification.
- You have sound and proven experience in ETL development, ideally with Informatica, as well as in dealing with relational databases (e.g. Oracle) and Linux.
- You bring several years of experience in application operations (incident, problem management, monitoring).
- You have knowledge of modern development and deployment processes (e.g., Git, CI/CD with Jenkins).
- Ideally, you have already worked in the Azure environment (e.g., Databricks, PySpark, Data Lake, Parquet) and are familiar with modeling approaches such as Data Vault.
- You communicate confidently in German and handle interactions with specialist departments and IT with ease.
