Job Description

The CSE AI and Data Leader is a senior digital leadership role accountable for maximizing business value from data, analytics, and AI across CSE. The role exists to enable scalable and responsible Business AI, strengthen fact‑based decision making, and accelerate AI‑driven productivity—while ensuring a trusted Single Source of Truth (SSoT) through the CSE Data Platform and robust data governance

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the CSE Business AI, analytics, and data enablement agenda end-to-end, including strategy, prioritization, and value realization.

  • Provide functional leadership for the teams Data Engineering DWH and Data & AI Enablement (people leadership, performance, capability building).

  • Act as steward of the CSE SSoT Data Platform, ensuring reliable operations, quality, scalability, and adoption.

  • Define and enforce BI enablement, reporting standards, and analytics governance to improve consistency and trust in insights.

  • Sponsor and guide AI business enablement initiatives, including (but not limited to) Copilot adoption and enablement, AI Change Agent Network, and the Citizen Data Scientist Program.

  • Establish and continuously improve data governance, data quality management, and reporting standards.

  • Enable business functions to use data and AI responsibly and effectively through self-service tooling, guidance, and enablement.

  • Partner closely with business stakeholders to translate needs into scalable data and AI solutions and drive change adoption.

  • Collaborate closely with WHQ UDA team and the Engineering AI team to align platforms, standards, and roadmaps.

  • Oversee and steer cross-functional initiatives and projects in the data & AI domain, ensuring delivery, governance, and measurable outcomes.

Education and experience

  • University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a comparable field.

  • Several years of leadership experience in data, analytics, or AI-related functions.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong strategic and conceptual understanding of data, analytics, and AI in business contexts.

  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable data and AI solutions.

  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Structured, analytical approach to complex problem-solving.

  • Proven experience with modern data platforms, data warehouses, and analytics ecosystems.

  • Strong understanding of BI, reporting, and self-service analytics concepts.

  • Solid knowledge of AI and advanced analytics, including enablement models for business users.

  • Experience with data governance, data quality management, and compliance requirements.

  • Familiarity with cloud-based data and AI technologies and modern software development practices.

  • Leadership & communication: able to explain complex topics clearly.
