The dual study program "Data Science and AI - Smart Operations Management" is a practical, business-oriented course of study focusing on optimizing business processes through artificial intelligence and data analysis. Whether it's chatbots, efficient packaging, or autonomous driving – the application of AI and data science in business is diverse and exciting. The practical phases directly build upon the theoretical content. You'll gain fascinating insights into a wide range of areas and become familiar with the key interfaces within the media group.

- You will get to know relevant departments within the media group. These include, for example: IT, Customer Relations, Reader Market and Marketing, Media Sales, Human Resources, Management, Digital Media, Online Editorial Team, Digital Sales, Controlling, Production and Logistics.
- You will learn to understand, classify, and further develop the use of artificial intelligence and data science in business.
- You will be involved in the analysis, evaluation, and processing of data in order to optimize business processes and make informed decisions along the entire value chain.
- You have the opportunity to help shape your practical focus and departmental rotations.
- You are involved in the independent planning and implementation of (trainee) projects.
