Data Manager (m/f/d)

The Center for Clinical Studies is a central facility of the University Hospital Freiburg. It offers comprehensive and professional services to science and industry in the planning, execution, and evaluation of clinical trials in accordance with applicable regulations and the internationally recognized quality standards of Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP).

An insight into your tasks:

  • Design, programming, validation and maintenance of clinical databases and online questionnaires (eCRFs)
  • Data cleaning including query management
  • Creation and maintenance of study-specific data management documents
  • Coordination of data management activities with participating clinicians, statisticians, monitors, project managers and our external study partners

Our requirements for you:

  • Completed studies or training in the field of medical documentation, medical information management or comparable qualifications.
  • Programming skills in SAS and SQL
  • Knowledge of eCRF systems (ideally secuTrial®, REDCap™) is desirable.
  • Experience in the standardized design of eCRFs is desirable.
  • Ability to familiarize oneself with new IT systems and areas of responsibility
  • very careful and systematic work and good problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, including in English.
  • Teamwork skills and good communication skills
  • Professional experience in clinical trial data management is desirable.
The position can be filled on a part-time or full-time basis and is initially limited to a 3-year project.

General note: Remuneration is based on the collective bargaining agreement. Full-time positions are generally divisible, provided there are no operational or legal reasons to the contrary.
