We – Apleona GmbH – are looking for an AI Engineer (m/f/d) for our location in Neu-Isenburg - JobID 24637
Your perspectives:
- Enabler role at the interface of IT × Operational Efficiency: you build ML solutions
and bring them into production. - Actively shape the AI strategy and platform that drives our transformation.
- Develop AI use cases (ML & GenAI) end-to-end – from idea to implementation – within the Microsoft ecosystem (Fabric, Power Platform, Azure)
- High visibility through a professional reporting line to management
- Close collaboration with Data & Analytics, project managers and specialist departments
What tasks will you be responsible for?
- Applied ML: Feature Engineering, Machine Learning Pipelines, Reproducible Notebooks/SQL
- Integration & MLOps: Pipelines/Jobs, CI/CD (light), Observability, Cost & Version Control
- GenAI & Guardrails: Integration of LLM/GenAI APIs, prompt flows, safety/policy guardrails
- Production deployment: Deployments, roles/permissions, APIs/webhooks,
simple service UIs - Handover & Operation: technical documentation, run handover, support for effect tracking
What you should bring:
- 3–6 years of experience in Data/ML Engineering or Applied ML with production experience
- Excellent Python and SQL skills, experience with Azure/Microsoft Fabric (notebooks, Lakehouse) and Git
- Basic MLOps practice: Orchestration/Jobs, CI/CD (light), Tests, Monitoring/Drift
- Practical experience with Power Platform (Power Automate/Apps) and API integration (REST, OAuth), basic knowledge of Azure AD/roles
- Understanding of security/compliance (GDPR basics), clean documentation and reliable handovers
- Strong collaboration and communication skills (fluent in German, very good in English), structured work style, ownership mindset
- Nice to have: Power BI, container basics, experience with HR or procurement data
