We are looking for support as

AI Engineer (m/w/d)

(permanent, full-time) at the Dortmund location with the possibility of 80% mobile office

Your tasks:

• Design instead of manage: Develop, train and deploy robust machine learning and deep learning models – e.g. for risk classification, document analysis or predictive analytics.
• Pure innovation: Build AI-based knowledge databases, chatbots and automation solutions – from Azure OpenAI to LangChain to RAG systems – and ensure stability and performance.
• Data Engineering meets AI: Design efficient data pipelines and workflows for OCR, NLP and more, and bring them productively into our landscape.
• Always ahead: Evaluate, integrate, test – you bring new AI technologies, frameworks and platforms (Azure AI Services, Hugging Face, LangChain) into practice.
• Teamwork first: Work closely with data engineers, IT and business departments to sustainably embed AI solutions.

You bring the following:

• Language: Fluent German skills (at least C1 level)
• Know-how: Completed studies in (business) informatics, data science / AI or comparable training with relevant experience
• Tech-Skills:
  • ML/DL development with Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn
  • Modell-Deployment & MLOps (Docker, CI/CD, Cloud, REST-APIs)
  • Experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Hugging Face), Prompt Engineering, Chatbots & RAG systems
• Nice-to-have: Knowledge of NLP, OCR, Git, Azure, Atlassian, ETL processes, data integration & databases
• Advantages: Basic knowledge of IT security, EU AI Act, GDPR & compliance
