- Together with your colleagues, you will shape the intelligence layer of our data stack and develop AI-enabled data products as a basis for data-driven decisions and intelligent agents.
- You design and operate scalable data solutions that combine information from different systems into a consistent and reliable basis for decision-making.
- In this role, you will develop and manage modern data architectures – from curated data models and semantic layers to feature and vector repositories for AI applications.
- One focus is on the development and enhancement of knowledge graphs (e.g., Neo4j) and the integration of diverse data sources such as ERP, CRM, and cloud systems via powerful pipelines.
- You develop identity resolution and data consolidation solutions to merge fragmented data into a reliable "golden layer".
- In addition, you are responsible for high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines and ensure the quality, timeliness and traceability of the data through monitoring, testing and data governance measures – using modern AI tools to increase efficiency.
- Completed studies in computer science, data engineering, business informatics or a comparable qualification as well as several years of experience in data engineering, ideally in the AI environment.
- Excellent knowledge of SQL and Python, as well as experience with modern data platforms and tools such as Microsoft Fabric, Spark, dbt, Airflow or Azure Data Factory.
- Experience with graph databases (e.g. Neo4j) and sound knowledge of data modeling in complex enterprise environments.
- Expertise in identity resolution, data quality, data provenance, governance, and the construction and operation of reliable data pipelines.
- Experience in preparing data for AI applications (e.g., embeddings, retrieval, semantic layers) and ideally in the use of AI-supported development tools.
- A good understanding of business processes, a structured and solution-oriented work style, and good German and English skills.
- Personally, you impress with your analytical thinking, quality awareness, and teamwork skills.
