Your tasks

  • Digital development of production sites in Germany towards AI-supported smart factories
  • Establishing efficient AI implementation and operating models, from structured solution development to stable operation and continuous improvement in day-to-day business.
  • Application of explainable AI (Explainable AI) analysis and modeling approaches to make AI-supported decisions transparent, comprehensible, and usable for humans.
  • Continuous monitoring of new technologies, methods and trends, their critical evaluation, and targeted transfer of suitable approaches into practical, industrial solutions for our production sites.
  • Close collaboration with national and international teams, promotion of knowledge transfer, and support for the cross-site harmonization and sustainable scaling of successful solutions.
Your qualifications
  • Completed studies in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Informatics or comparable qualification
  • A strong understanding of industrial production and operational processes, as well as the ability to translate these into data- and AI-driven solutions for decision-making and optimization.
  • Solid practical experience in the field of data engineering and machine learning, combined with the ability to transfer data and AI solutions from development to stable operational use and to continuously improve them.
  • Ideally, experience with event-driven and agent-based AI approaches, as well as the ability to realistically assess their benefits, limitations, and maturity level in an industrial context.
  • Excellent communication and translation skills to convey complex data, AI and technology topics in an understandable, effective and audience-appropriate manner across disciplines, locations and cultural boundaries. Excellent German skills (C1 level) and good English skills, both spoken and written.
