Your tasks

  • Disciplinary leadership and development of employees in the Expertise Group Data Science
  • Contributing to the development of the new AI chapter with strategic relevance for DKB
  • Further development of a clear understanding of roles as well as suitable competencies, standards and development paths for data scientists.
  • Sparring and support for employees in their professional and personal development
  • Close collaboration with tech leads in the further development of ML products
  • Promoting best practices, knowledge sharing and effective collaboration within the chapter
  • Responsibility for recruiting, selecting and onboarding new data scientists

Your profile

  • Several years of experience in Data Science and Machine Learning and AI
  • Completed studies in mathematics, physics, (business) informatics or a comparable field of study
  • Experience in leading, developing, and coaching employees
  • A good understanding of modern AI methods, from classical machine learning to GenAI.
  • Experience with common data science and development stacks, e.g., Python, AWS, and Git
  • Extensive expertise regarding the challenges and success factors in ML projects
  • A good understanding of matrix organizations and the collaboration between people and product responsibility.
  • Excellent German and English skills at C1 level.
