Your sphere of influence

• As an intern or working student (all genders) in our SAP AI team, you will work together with experienced cloud and AI engineers to build real intelligent applications – not just proofs, but prototypes that go to real customers.
• After intensive training, you will develop AI-based extensions and microservices – e.g. in Node.js, Python or TypeScript.
• You work with modern AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI Function Calling, RAG, Embeddings, Vector DBs, Agents, Tools)
• You will provide support with architecture, code, testing, and DevOps automation (GitHub, CI/CD).
• You evaluate new models and frameworks, test LLMs, prompt, benchmark, and show us what "state of the art" can really do right now.
• You build conversational interfaces, automations, and data pipelines. You work in interdisciplinary cloud AI teams – remotely or onsite.

What makes you stand out

• You are studying computer science, business informatics, data science, AI engineering or something similar (Bachelor's or Master's degree)
• You have solid programming skills with Node.js or Python.
• You have initial experience with AI models – e.g., prompting, LLM APIs, RAG, embeddings, agents.
• No SAP experience required. You'll learn everything you need to know about SAP Cloud through hands-on experience with us.
• You love to try things out hands-on, test them, and develop them further.
• You work in a self-organized manner, are curious, and have excellent language skills in German and English.
