What you can expect from us:

  • Establish and implement best practices for modern DevOps and cloud solutions – including governance, security, risk management and compliance.
  • Define and further develop automation strategies and Infrastructure-as-Code standards for OCI, AWS and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and secure software and infrastructure deployments.
  • Develop and operate scalable, highly available and resilient cloud platforms and operating models for customer projects.
  • Providing technical support for cloud migration and transformation projects and establishing sustainable operating and automation concepts.
  • Advising clients on the implementation of DevOps strategies, cloud-native technologies, and the modernization of their platforms.
  • Conduct technical workshops, architecture reviews, and presentations for clients and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with cloud architects, database experts, developers and project managers to successfully implement customer requirements. To take on the professional leadership and development of a small DevOps team – including coaching and mentoring of the engineers as well as coordination of onshore and offshore resources.

What we expect from you:

  • Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification.
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in IT, including at least 5 years in the cloud, DevOps or platform engineering environment.
  • Experience in the professional management of small teams or in mentoring engineers, ideally including coordination of onshore and offshore resources.
  • Excellent knowledge of AWS and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) as well as experience in the design and operation of scalable, highly available cloud platforms.
  • Extensive practical experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform, CloudFormation or similar technologies.
  • Good knowledge of scripting languages ​​such as Python, Bash or Go, as well as automation tools such as Ansible.
  • In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker and modern container platforms is a plus.
  • Experience with CI/CD processes and corresponding platforms such as Bitbucket, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
  • Agile working with appropriate toolsets such as Jira, Confluence
  • A solid understanding of cloud-native technologies, automation, security, governance, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging and observability solutions (e.g. CloudWatch, OpenSearch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or Datadog).
  • At least one AWS Cloud certification at the Professional level (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional).
  • Cloud certifications from other cloud providers (OCI, Azure) are a plus.
  • Very good German skills (at least C1) and good English skills (at least B2) in spoken and written form. Customer-oriented approach, enjoyment of consulting-related activities and collaboration with international teams.
