You will learn this with us

This 7-month advanced training program is designed as an upskilling course: You build upon your existing professional expertise and expand it with modern data analytics skills that are directly required in many current roles. You will learn to understand data in a structured way, reliably analyze it, and visualize results in professional reports and dashboards. This will strengthen your profile in a practical way – and increase your chances of quickly finding a good job again.

The training is divided into three practical modules:

SQL & Microsoft Azure: Understanding, evaluating, and securely modeling data (11 weeks)

You will learn how data is created and used in companies, and build a solid foundation in databases and SQL – from the basics to advanced techniques. This includes data modeling, data integrity, and administration. Additionally, you will gain practical insights into Azure database services and data warehousing. A final team project ensures that you can directly apply and present what you have learned.

Contents:

• Introduction to databases, KPIs, ETL, SQL vs. NoSQL, Big Data
• SQL basics (JOINs, integrity, timestamps) to advanced (RegEx, JSON, stored procedures)
• Data modeling (e.g., star schema) and administration
• Azure services for relational data, Cosmos DB, data warehousing
• Final project (teamwork & presentation)

Power BI Data Analyst: Business Intelligence, Visualization and Dashboards (10 weeks)

In this module, you will develop the ability to extract clear insights from data. You will work with Power Query for data cleansing and transformation, model data effectively, and create interactive reports. Using DAX, you will build meaningful measures and leverage advanced analytics and AI capabilities. You will also learn best practices for dashboard design, performance optimization, and professional use within the Power BI Service, including roles, permissions, and row-level security.

• Visuals, DAX, Drillthrough, Advanced Analytics, KI
• Dashboard design, best practices, paginated reports, performance
• Power BI Service: Workspaces, Administration, Roles & Permissions, RLS
• Team final project + exam preparation Microsoft Power BI

JobReady: Project management, practical project & convincing credentials (8 weeks)

Finally, you will apply your new skills in a real-world project context. You will learn project management (including Scrum), prepare application documents and interviews, and implement a practical project in a team with partner companies. This provides solid proof of your competencies – supplemented by preparation for the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) exam.

Your profile

• Language skills: German B1/B2, basic English skills are an advantage.
